EMERGENCY FIRST AID LEVEL C CPR AED

The Emergency First Aid and CPR course is an external certification course which teaches participants the basics of lifesaving first aid and CPR skills for the workplace or home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. (Two sessions being offered)

MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID CERTIFICATION
9:00 am - 4:00 pm

1 in 3 Canadians will experience a mental health problem at some point in their lifetime. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a course offered through the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC). It is the help provided to a person experiencing a mental health issue. Like physical first aid, it's the intervention given until appropriate professional treatment is obtained or the particular crisis is addressed

This is a 2-day evidence based program that teaches how to recognize the signs and symptoms of the mental health problem, how to give the initial help and how to guide an individual to appropriate professional assistance. These principles are covered in 6 modules, over 2 days, and, are applicable to both our personal and our work lives.
